In New Delhi, Delhi Police has busted an international fake Visa gang that would send people abroad on fabricated documents. Police claimed, the accused invested money earned through illegal activity, in the production of various web shows.
Cops said the gang had been active for more than 20 years and may have sent thousands of people abroad on fake visas. More than 300 Indian passports and 175 visas from foreign countries have been seized.
Police said the gang charged 50-60 Lakh for preparing fake documents. The amount was taken in installments and the final payment was made when the fax would reach its destination.
DCP(IGIA) Tanu sharma said the racket come to force after one Rameshbhai Chaudhary, a native of gujrat, was deport from Kuwait for producing a fake passport.
Investigators claimed that for the past three years, Zakir Yusuf shaikh was investing his illegal money in illegal money in Marathi movies and web series.
